Central Florida is passionate about our Pets. At WFTV Channel 9, we are too. Our newly launched FURever Friends initiative supports animal welfare organizations, provides our viewers with resources and information, and helps homeless pets find their forever homes.



FURevr Friends is a combined effort between Orlando’s very own Fence Outlet and the Pet Alliance of Central Florida to find homes for those “underdogs” in need. Each Saturday morning between 6-9a, one adoptable pet will be featured in WFTV’s Eyewitness News with on-air anchor Karla Ray. Our furry pet’s adoption fee will be covered by our friends at Fence Outlet.

Also, be sure to mark your calendar for this year’s “Pet Food Pantry” in November to help raise food and awareness for the shelters at Fence Outlet.
